LEGAL
TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: 22 April 2026
These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern your use of the Seen Live website (seenlivemusic.com) and the pre-launch waitlist. By joining the waitlist or interacting with the service, you accept these Terms.
1. Who we are
Seen Live is currently operated by Charles Blethon, a natural person based in France.
A French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) is currently in formation and will succeed as service provider. Users will be notified of this transition.
Contact: hello@seenlivemusic.com for general inquiries. privacy@seenlivemusic.com for data-related requests.
2. What Seen Live is (today)
Seen Live is a pre-launch beta in preparation. At this stage, the waitlist is open and free. Access to the service will be rolled out progressively, through successive closed beta cohorts. The full product is under active development.
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee beta access. Each cohort has limited places. Priority is given based on fit, application order, and operational constraints at our sole discretion.
3. The service (preview)
Once live, Seen Live will help artists discover where and how their music appears in live performances, videos, and online content, through automated audio fingerprinting performed by specialized third-party partners (see Privacy Policy for details).
Nothing on the site constitutes a commitment to deliver specific features, metrics, or detection accuracy. The service is under active development and may change substantially before launch.
4. Waitlist registration
By submitting the waitlist form, you represent that:
• You are at least 16 years old
• The information you provide is accurate and yours (or your artist project's)
• You agree to receive service-related communications from us
• You accept that your data will be processed as described in the Privacy Policy
You may withdraw from the waitlist at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting privacy@seenlivemusic.com.
5. Beta participation (for invited artists)
If you are selected into a beta cohort and choose to submit a track for analysis, the following applies:
• You must own the rights to the track you submit, or have explicit authorization to share it with us for analysis purposes.
• Submitting a track grants Seen Live a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process the track solely for fingerprinting and detection, via our third-party partners (see Privacy Policy).
• You retain full ownership and copyright of your track. Seen Live does not claim any rights over your music.
• Detection results are shared with you only. We do not publish, redistribute, or commercialize detection data.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• Submit tracks you do not own or have authorization for
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the security of our systems
• Use the service to harass, impersonate, or harm others
• Use automated means (scrapers, bots) to access the site
• Resell or redistribute service outputs without written permission
We may suspend or terminate your access without notice in case of violation.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Seen Live website (text, branding, visual identity, underlying code) is the property of Charles Blethon or his licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute material from the site without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
8. Disclaimers
Seen Live is provided "as is" during the pre-launch and beta phases. We make no warranties:
• That the service will be available continuously or without interruption
• That detection results will be complete, accurate, or exhaustive
• That the service will fit any specific purpose or produce any specific commercial outcome
To the maximum extent permitted by French law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by French law, Seen Live (Charles Blethon today, the future SAS tomorrow) shall not be liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost revenue, lost opportunities, or reputational harm
• Any damage arising from the use of detection results, whether accurate or not
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by our fault, as French law prohibits such exclusions.
10. Data protection
Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email to registered waitlist members at least 15 days before taking effect.
Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms, the website, or the service will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may grant you access to the courts of your place of residence within the EU.
