Behind Seen Live,
there's someone like you.
An artist.
I'm Charles. I'm a house music producer. I also run a small label called SOBER, some of you may know me from there, others won't. I started it because I kept digging tracks I wanted other people to hear.
At some point I finished a remix I'd been working on for a while. I was really happy with the result. So I did what every artist does. I sent it out to DJs, producers, people I respected.
&ME replied. Said he was into it. Said he'd play it out.
And then the wait begins. You know that wait. You start checking everything. Every day. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. You scroll through edits of his latest sets. You search your track name with every spelling you can think of. You check tags, comments, reposts.
Nothing. Weeks go by. Then months.
Then one evening I'm leaving work, checking my phone on the way out. I received a DM from an account I've never seen, Tulum Grooves, a media page covering the scene. They've sent me a video.
It's &ME. Playing my remix of At Night. At a gig in Azerbaijan.
I watched it standing on the sidewalk. Played it again. And again. My track, in his set, on the other side of the world. And I had no idea.
I put the video on my story. Five minutes later, Luca texted me. Saying he saw it too, live in Amsterdam, his hometown. He'd been hearing this remix for months and couldn't figure out who'd made it. Months. My own remix.
THE CIRCLE
SOBER started because I loved finding music nobody had heard yet and putting it in front of people. That moment when you hear something and you think, everyone needs to hear this. Watching someone go from sending you a demo at 3am to playing a room full of people. That's the whole point.
CIRCL comes from that same place.
An artist doesn't grow alone. There's always a circle around it. The DJ who drops the track, the booker who notices, the label that reaches out, the other producers who share it in their group chats.
That circle already exists. It's alive. It has been for years. It's just invisible.
CIRCL makes it visible. And structures it.
Seen Live is the first layer, dedicated to artists. What comes after is for the rest of the circle. Labels. Bookers. Promoters. The people who actually make your music move.
An artist never moves alone.
He moves within a circle.
